1. Super symmetry. 2. Pool side reading. You can't tell from the picture but the dark messed up content of the book really served as a contrast with the background. 3. Hotel pool. 4. Sad attempt to acquire a tan by lying on the beach for a good period of time before spotting monkeys on the trees and fleeing back to my room. 5. Boardwalk from the room to the beach. 6. Fish and chips for dinner at a random ass restaurant by the beach. 7. Lazy chairs by the pool. 8. Mini chill area outside our room which I envisioned myself sitting and reading there but I got attacked by a family of thirsty mosquitoes and anemic people like myself can't afford to loose blood. 9. Sundown.
Taken a couple of months back when I made a trip to Langkawi with family. Salty air, cheap booze and chocolate. I've never been much of a nature person, try as I might. On the boat ride, while trying to get a picture by sitting too close to the edge of the boat, it suddenly went through a rough bump which resulted in me being drenched with salt water and a mouth full of it as well. Although I did enjoy looking at the change of scenery and also the sun that gave me a pathetic tan that didn't last too long. I've never been a fan of beaches to be honest. Yes it is pleasant to the eyes but is it really worth having sand hidden in all the nooks and crannies of your body and having salt water burn and evoking crazy itches on my skin? Not really? Maybe this also dates back to a traumatic incident of me being stung by a jelly fish at the beach when I was 6. But I will give nature some rightful credit. There is an overpowering sense of tranquility that comes with sitting at the beach alone with your own thoughts and a book (before monkeys show up lol fuck monkeys)
